Left and right mean your child's left and right - not yours as you're facing them. If you're looking at your child from the front, their left eye is the one on your right.
The patch covers the strong eye, not the weak one. Covering the strong eye is what makes the weaker eye do the work - that's the whole point of occlusion therapy.
Your child's optometrist will have told you which eye and how many hours a day. If you're not sure, check with them before ordering - each patch is made for one side and can't be swapped after it's sewn.

Size and fit ⌄
Standard patches are 1.5 x 1.97 in (38 x 50 mm) and fit most children's frames, plastic or metal.
If the frame is unusually small or large, measure the lens at its widest and tallest points and put both numbers in the order notes. Custom sizing is free and adds no handling time.
Materials and care ⌄
Our patches are non-adhesive, soft fabric patches, not disposable adhesive ones, so they're built to be washed and reused rather than thrown away after one use. Hand wash in cold water and let it air dry naturally - if needed, reshape it by hand. Do not iron. If any dirt appears on the inner fabric, a lint roller or sticky tape lifts it right off. If an edge frays or a thread comes loose, you can carefully trim it with scissors - the fabric won't unravel further.
