Which eye do I cover?
The strong one. Covering it is what makes the weaker eye do the work. Your optometrist will have told you which - the patch is made left or right specific, so it's worth checking before you order.
Will it fit my child's glasses?
Our standard 1.5 x 1.97 in (38 × 50 mm) patch fits most children's frames, plastic or metal. If it doesn't, measure the lens at its widest and tallest points, send the numbers, and we will make it to fit for free.
Can I send my own design?
Yes - the Custom Eye Patch lets you send a photo, a drawing, or a description, and choose full, simple, or pirate coverage.
Does anything stick to my child's skin?
No. The patch goes on the frame, not the face. There's no adhesive anywhere on it.
Do you make patches for adults?
Yes - the Plain & Neutral collection has patches sized for adult frames, in colors that read as part of the glasses rather than something to notice. It's what most grown-ups order when occlusion therapy or recovery after eye surgery means wearing one at work.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cool water, press the water out, air dry flat. Never machine wash or tumble dry - heat shrinks wool felt and it will stop fitting the lens.
How long does one patch last?
Families patching daily usually get around a year from one patch. Most keep two in rotation so one can dry.
Shipping and delivery
Every patch is made and shipped from our workshop in Europe within 3-7 business days, depending on order volume.

Every order gets a tracking number by email when it ships. If tracking hasn't moved in five working days, message us and we'll chase it or remake the order.
Will I be charged customs in US?
No, we ship Delivery Duty Paid, so duties and import taxes are already covered and there is nothing to pay on delivery.
